We collect information in three primary ways: directly from you, automatically when you use the app, and from third parties.

How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to provide, improve, and protect our services. Specifically:
- Create and manage your account and display your profile to potential matches.
- Power our matchmaking algorithms to suggest compatible users based on your preferences and location.
- Facilitate messaging, video calls, and other communication features.
- Process in-app purchases and subscriptions through Google Play / Apple IAP.
- Send service notifications, security alerts, and (with your consent) promotional messages.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Conduct analytics and improve app performance, design, and features.
- Comply with legal obligations under applicable laws.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Other Users: Profile information you make public (name, photos, bio) is visible to other IshqZone users as part of the core matchmaking experience.
- Service Providers: Trusted vendors (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processors, customer support tools) under strict data processing agreements.
- Safety & Legal: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IshqZone, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with advance notice to you.
- With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit agreement.
Data Storage & Retention
- Data is stored on secure servers located in India and/or cloud infrastructure compliant with applicable data protection laws.
- We retain account data as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
- Upon deletion, your profile is removed from public view immediately; residual data is purged from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot identify you.
- Messages exchanged with other users may remain in their inbox; you are responsible for managing your own chat history.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your data:
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
- Role-based access controls limiting staff access to your data.
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Two-factor authentication available on your account.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Update or correct inaccurate data in your profile settings.
Deletion
Delete your account and associated data at any time.

Children's Privacy
IshqZone is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is underage, we will immediately suspend and delete their account and all associated data. If you believe a minor has created an account, please report it to safety@ishqzone.in immediately.
Third-Party Services & SDKs
Our app integrates third-party SDKs and services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase – Analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging. (Firebase Privacy)
- Google Play Services – Authentication, in-app billing, and Maps SDK for location features.
- Agora / Twilio – Real-time audio/video call infrastructure.
- Razorpay / Google Pay – Secure in-app payment processing.
- Facebook SDK – Optional social login; governed by Meta's Data Policy if used.
We do not share your data with advertising networks or sell it to data brokers.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The IshqZone mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use equivalent mobile identifiers (Android Advertising ID, device tokens) for the following limited purposes:
- Essential: Session management and authentication tokens (cannot be disabled).
- Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics to improve the app experience.
- Crash Reporting: Diagnostic data to identify and fix app bugs.
You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of interest-based advertising in your device settings at any time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Send an in-app notification and/or email to registered users.
- For significant changes, request renewed consent where required by law.
Your continued use of IshqZone after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Child Safety Standards (CSAE Policy)
IshqZone – Dating & Matchmaking has a strict zero-tolerance policy towards Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We do not permit, host, promote, or facilitate content, behaviour, or accounts that sexualise, endanger, or exploit minors in any way, on or off our platform.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Any user under the age of 18 creating or maintaining an account on IshqZone.
- Uploading, sharing, or requesting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real or simulated.
- Any attempt to groom, exploit, sexually solicit, or cause harm to a minor through our app.
- Sexualised commentary, imagery, or descriptions involving minors anywhere on the platform.
Reporting Mechanism: Users can report any suspicious account, message, image, or behaviour directly within the app via the "Report" button on any profile, chat, or piece of content. Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team within 24 hours, and confirmed CSAE violations are escalated immediately, including to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement as required by applicable law.
